摘要:The way to learn multidisciplinary design has been discussed.“Biomedical engineering” is exemplified for multidisciplinaryfield. “Biomedical Engineering” makes the multidisciplinaryresearch area, which includes biology, medicine, engineering,and others. The cross-cultural student seminars on biomedicalengineering have been exemplified as the case studies. In thegroup work, students are divided into the small cross culturalgroups. Each group finds a problem, methods to solve theproblem, and contribution to the society. Presentations aremade referring information on the internet. They have learnedhow to communicate with students, who have variety of culturalbackgrounds. The training awakes students to several points:thinking from a different point of view, and variation ofcommunication tools. The process is effective to learnmultidisciplinary design.
