摘要：This paper investigates about one thousand WQ- questions with the interrogativecue in initial position from the Atlasul multimedia prozodic Român (AMPRom). Itis under debate the (proto)typical pattern of neutral Wh-interrogatives in comparisonwith the affirmative sentences with large and contrastive focus on the firstcomponent. Then there are introduced some variances from the prototypical modelrelated to pragmatic-semantic aspects.
