摘要：This article aims to check how farmers in the city of Tupa-SP, are fulfilling their liability under the law, as the reverse logistics of empty containers of pesticides. Based on documentary research, to understand the determination of the legislation, and literature on reverse logistics, a field research was carried out with application of a questionnaire developed and validated following the DeVellis recommendations (2003) together with twenty (20) farmers the municipality, in April and May 2015. The objective was to see how farmers realize the reverse logistics procedure of pesticide containers on the first link in the chain proposed by the Brazilian legislation for these packages. It was found that there is a tendency of producers, in general, do not fulfill what law imposes and one of the possible causes raised in this research may be the lack of supervision by the Government.
