  • 摘要:The research is concerned with the stabilization of clay soil using rubber tyre chips. Clay soil wascollected from an area of rajasthan and rubber tyre chips were made available from the locally available tyre tube. Tyretube was cutted into small chips and was mixed into the clay soil. Present work has been carried out by taking 1 – 5mmrubber tyre chips as an admixture. The varying percentage 0%, 0.05%, 0.06%, 0.7%, 0.8%, 0.9% and 1.0% of tyrechips were mixed in clay, with these mix compositions CBR test was carried out at different dry densities obtainedfrom the standard penetration test. The result and conclusion were summed which shows the use of tyre chips mixed inthe clay. The results shows the use of waste rubber tyre chips.
