摘要：This paper studies the evolution of anti theft security system for two wheeler vehicles since the start oftwo wheeler era. To highlight the depth of the situation, it provides some statistics for vehicle theft focussing on IndianTerritory. It also throws some light on the functional aspects of few widely accepted security devices that made a markin the industry. Finally, the paper draws a general conclusion for the future technological trends of two wheeler securitybased on current global scenario.
