摘要:This paper addresses the comparison study between non-adaptive and adaptive backstepping control ofthe permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) using a three level inverter (NPC). First, a non-adaptivebackstepping approach is designed by defining the virtual control variables and selecting the Lyapunov functions.Secondly, the adaptive backstepping is investigated by deriving the control laws and parameters adaptation. Theproposed strategy is regulating the rotor speed according to stator resistance and load torque parameters adaptation thatestimated in real time. Therefore, the ability of disturbances rejection is improved. Simulation results show a signifystatic error in tracking speed in case of non-adaptive, while adaptive method is robust against load disturbances andparameter variations.
