摘要：Speech is the primary and the most convenient means of communication between people.AutomaticSpeech Recognition provides a way for natural communication between human and machine. It has become aninteresting and challenging area. It helps to provide a capability to a machine for responding properly to spokenlanguage.The main aim of this study is to understand the various approaches used for the recognition and detection ofspeech so that we can find out the methods that gives better accuracy and performance.
