摘要：Seedling morphology was studied from different parts of Taki, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. A totalof 139 taxa was described and illustrated. Seedling morphological data are used as taxonomic markers in the systematicconsideration of angiosperms. Using these characters, artificial key for the identification of taxa of different seedlinggroups has been developed which helps in the identification of plants at juvenile stage much earlier before floweringand fruiting stage.
