其他摘要:The third Neolithic and Early Bronze Age Research Student Symposium (NEBARSS) was held at the UCL Institute of Archaeology November 18th–19th, 2016. The conference explored how archaeological research can aid our understanding of social change during the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age periods (c. 4000–1500 BCE) through the theme ‘anarchy in the UK?’. This theme challenged speakers to create pasts that disrupt or diverge from linear narratives of social evolution and this review outlines the speakers’ responses to this challenge.
