  • 摘要:This paper does a comparative analysis of Manual and Automated testing on a Network Security Device.It highlights the advantages of automated testing through various comparison graphs and figures. In Manual testing, thetest engineer creates test cases and executes manually to identify defects in the software. If the manual testing isrepetitive, it is difficult to perform on large software applications which run on the hardware. This paper puts light onindustry trends and lessons learned to save time and resources. Automation testing is done on the Product feature byselecting important test cases called sanity tests that cover the affected changefor a new build.
