摘要:With adaption of Cloud computing the demand for computational power has increased rapidly. Clouddata center consume massive amount of electrical energy for IT as well as not-IT purposes. To design an energyefficientdynamic Cloud resource management system, virtual machine (VM) consolidation is the key mechanism. It isbased on the assertion that migrating VMs into fewer number of physical machines would lead to achieve increasedutilization of resources and in turn results into less energy consumption in Data Center. In this paper we have presenteda study of dynamic virtual machine consolidation for energy & network efficiency as well as to meet other objectivessuch as SLA violation aware approaches in Cloud Data Centers.
