摘要：Discovering interesting patterns and useful knowledge from massive data has become an important datamining task. In recent past, utility mining has emerging an important research topic since the quantity and profit factorsare both used to discover interesting patterns from massive data. Utility mining addresses the limitation of frequentpattern mining by considering user’s expectation as well as the raw data. Among utility mining problems, high utilitypattern mining with the itemset framework is more challenging than the other categories of utility mining and frequentpattern mining. Several researches about utility pattern mining have been proposed. This research paper presents areview of the various approaches and algorithms for high utility pattern mining.
