摘要：The idea behind the current work is to determining the oil, water, solid and clay content in drilling mudusing additives as STTP (sodium tri-polyphosphate) Na5P3O10, sodium silicate and base as bentonite, barite, distilledwater. The mud used in this work is barite and bentonites at different samples to know the difference in their specificgravity, viscosity, surface density, and PH of the samples when chemical additives are added in the mud. Alsocomparing these values with the oil based mud’s which is prepared with biodiesel to reduce the impact of toxicity andmake the environment friendly drilling fluids.
