摘要:This paper presents in engineering problems require high performance heat transfer components withprogressively less weight, volumes, accommodating shapes and costs. Extended surfaces(fins) are one of heatexchanging devices that are employed extensively to increase heat transfer rates. The rate of heat transfer depends onthe surfaces area of the fin. Rectangular fin is one of the best choice to exchanging the heat transfer rate from theprimary surfaces. In this project the heat transfer rate and efficiency from rectangular fin is analyzed for differentdimensions of fins that is fed with constant heat input under convection.
