摘要：Although nowadays knowledge is considered one of the mainresources in organisations to create competitive advantage, thereis a lack of research dedicated to the subject of knowledge and inparticular knowledge synergy. After examining the content, typesand properties of knowledge, the article provides definitions ofknowledge potential and knowledge synergy that lead to the identificationof its links and the constructive development of systematicresearch of knowledge synergy. The analysis of a knowledgesynergy structure and the refinement of its components, i.e. employee’sknowledge, relations among employees and types ofknowledge synergy relations, serve as a basis for a fundamentaldiagram of knowledge synergy evaluation and a calculation formulafor knowledge synergy, as well as for suggestions on the evaluationof knowledge synergy components.
