摘要：Industry 4.0 creates what has been called a smart factory, a name for the current trend of automation anddata exchange in manufacturing technologies. It includes cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things, cloudcomputing and cognitive computing. Industry 4.0 is commonly referred to as the fourth industrial revolution whichstarted in Germany. The importance of industrial sector is in the development of the economy of a country and is thedriver for growth and employment in the state.This paper presents a review on the advancement in the development of manufacturing process by continuousenhancement in the robotic technology and control automation in achieving best results for any manufacturingprocess. Most Industries, research centers, and universities acknowledge that robotics and control automationtechnology is the basis of industrial manufacturing and an important driver for Industry 4.0.
