  • 摘要:Enhancement image quality play a vital role in analyzing the images in different research andengineering applications. A good quality image certainly conveys maximum information compared to its poor qualitycounterpart. The image quality may get degraded by many reasons. Our prime goal is to improve the visual quality andresolution of an image. As part of achieving this goal in this paper we proposed a novel approach for an adaptive imagedetail enhancement using Edge preserving Filter. The proposed approach is tested in the matlab environment and thesimulation results adjudged that the proposed approach is good in all aspects and out performs all the existingapproaches.
