摘要:In emergency system, the transfer of patients tothe hospital should be in fast and save manner to increasethe rescue and survival rates. Thus, the ambulances takethe short and safe way to the emergency department at ahospital. To satisfy this, this paper tackles the problem ofroad jamming by controlling the underlying traffic lightsand selecting the optimal path depending on crowed sensorreadings. The proposed system includes two main parts;data center and ambulance. The data center collects theinformation regarding the location of patients and hospitalas well as the current location of an ambulance and crowdsensor readings fixed on the roads. This is to implementthe proposed algorithm that guides the ambulance to theoptimal path in which the patient can be delivered to theemergency department safely and shortly. Moreover, thisalgorithm sends signals to the considered traffic light to begreen in front of ambulance arriving. In the ambulanceside, the location has been sent to the data center usingArduino, Global Position System (GPS) shield and GlobalSystem Mobile (GSM) shields fixed on the ambulance. Inaddition, the ambulance is provided with navigation screento guide the driver using the best path. All the traffic dataand locations of patients and ambulances are stored in adatabase at the server of datacenter for more reportingand actions. Different software has been used, such as PhP,SQL server, C#, Arduino and Google maps. The obtainedresults satisfy the expected objectives of the proposedsystem.
