摘要：Biological systems have evolved optimally, whichmakes them highly complex. Advances in experimentaltechniques provide an opportunity for the development ofmathematical models of biochemical networks, including signaltransduction pathways and metabolic networks. Systemsbiology is an area of active research in which various modelingtechniques have been proposed to analyze and identify a widerange of biological networks and that is achieved with the use ofalgorithms to aid in the task of integrating expert knowledgeand get a synthetic view of the existing biological knowledge in anetwork and achieve the prediction of the dynamic behavior ofa system. A review of the generalities of systems biology andmathematical modeling in the context of biological systems ispresented.
