标题：NOVAS FORMAS DE ATIVISMO SOCIAL: O QUE HÁ POR TRÁS DAS MOBILIZAÇÕES DE RUA? O MOVIMENTO PASSE LIVRE DE SÃO PAULO (MPL-SP)

摘要：Este trabalho trata de desvendar a forma e o sentido que tiveram práticas educativas de um dos movimentos que deram origem às manifestações ocorridas no Brasil em 2013: o Movimento Passe Livre de São Paulo (MPL-SP). O MPL é identificado no contexto das lutas pelo direito à cidade, tendo como referência central a conquista da tarifa zero para os transportes coletivos. Tomando como referência a Educação Popular, o trabalho foi produzido tendo como base documentos e entrevistas com três dos seus participantes. O resultado aponta para a preocupação do movimento em fazer do trabalho educativo uma das suas estratégias para arregimentar novos participantes, em particular nas escolas. Mostra, também, a preocupação com o trabalho de formação dos seus militantes, sendo esse assistemático e construído a partir da vontade e orientação descentralizada da base do movimento. O estudo discute que, apesar dessas práticas educativas terem identidade com as características da tradição da Educação Popular, elas se distanciam no sentido do peso que a formação teórica tem para o trabalho político do movimento.
其他摘要：This article attends to unravel the form and the meaning of educational practices from one of the movements that gave rise to demonstrations occurred in Brazil in 2013: The Passe Livre Movement in São Paulo (MPL-SP). The MPL identifies itself with the struggle for the “rights to the city,” having as a central issue the claim for no fees in public transportation. Having Popular Education as a reference, this article was based on documents and interviews with three of its members. The results point to the movement’s preoccupation in turning the educative work into one of its main strategies to gather new members, particularly in schools. It also demonstrates a preoccupation with the formation of its militants, being this formation unsystematic and built upon the will and decentralized orientation of the movement’s [base]. This study demonstrates that, in spite of the similarities between these practices and the Popular Education tradition, it distances itself in the sense of the weight that theoretical formation has for the political work within the movement.
