标题：La era Vargas y la trayectoria del Supremo Tribunal Federal de Brasil: un análisis histórico institucional 1930-1945

摘要：n el presente trabajo analizamos el proceso de desarrollo institucional del S upremo Tribunal Federa l de Brasil durante el periodo v arguista (1930 - 1945). Particularmente, observaremos los cambios institucionales que se presentaron en esta fase. Son foco de nuestro estudio las importantes modificaciones legislativas, la tendencia jur isprudencial y las variaciones en la composición del Alto Tribunal. Nos detendremos especialmente en los tres momentos sobresalientes de esta etapa varguista: El gobierno provisorio, el constitucional y finalmente el Estado Novo. Cerraremos con breves cons ideraciones finales sobre las particularidades del desarrollo institucional del Supremo Tribunal Federal en el periodo seleccionado. De este modo, pretendemos contribuir con los estudios sobre Cortes Supremas en Latino América desde una perspectiva histori ca e interdisiplinaria.
其他摘要：This article analyzes the process of institutional development undergone by Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court during the Vargas Era (1930 - 1945), by studying the institutional shifts to have taken place during the period. T o do so, the work focuses on the significant legislative modifications, the trend toward jurisprudence and the fluctuations in the composition of the Supreme Court. We pay particular attention to the three periods characterizing the Vargas Era: the provisi onal government, the constitutional one, and finally, the Estado Novo [New State]. We conclude with several brief final considerations on the distinctive features of the Supreme Federal Court’s institutional development in the period under study. It is our aim to contribute to studies on Latin America’s supreme courts from a historical and interdisciplinary perspective.
