标题：LA ÉTICA DE LA OBESIDAD Y LA DELGADEZ EN EL DISCURSO MÉDICO EN LA POSMODERNIDAD

摘要：La construcción social de la obesidad como enfermedad y la delgadez como ideal corporal han adquirido connotaciones morales en la Posmodernidad. Actualmente la gestión de la apariencia física –antiedad y antipeso- ha cobrado relevancia, y el cuerpo delgado –muy delgado- , se ha promovido, especialmente mediante los medios de comunicación y la comercialización de productos y servicios; debajo de ello subyace un discurso de poder y autocontrol, y se ha equiparado con buena salud. Por su parte, las personas con obesidad han sido blanco de estigma y discriminación, al atribuirse una causa autoinflingida y en perjuicio de la sociedad aumentando los costos de atención sanitarios. Es importante que el discurso biomédico reflexione sobre la construcción de estos estereotipos.
其他摘要：The social construction of obesity as a disease, and the construction of thinness as an ideal body type have acquired even a moral connotation with Posmodernity. Currently, the management of physical appearance has achieved relevance and slim bodies (very Thin) has been promoted, especially by the media and the marketing of products and services. Beneath this conception, lies a discourse of power and self-control that has been equated to good health. In the other hand, the people with overweight has been the target of stigma and discrimination, as the obesity is considered a self- inflicted problem and even a problem that harm the society as a whole, due to increasing health costs. We consider important that the biomedical discourse reflects about the construction of these stereotypes.
