摘要：This article explores the developing area of the compensation of female tort victims. This area has been marked by the under-compensation of female victims. The author examines some of the reasons for this under-compensation. The author also addresses recent attempts by the judiciary to eliminate any gender bias or stereotypical assumptions about women when assessing damages for incapacity to work.
