摘要：This article presents the results of a research on the media competence of Spanish children of 4-6 years old. The main objective is to analyze the level of media competence that boys and girls have in each of the dimensions that compose it. Specifically, these dimensions are: language, technology, interaction processes, production and dissemination processes, aesthetics, ideology and values. The study is composed by 274 boys and girls of 4-6 years. Results indicate the different levels of competence that boys and girls reach in each of the analyzed dimensions.
