摘要：Gastrointestinal and external parasites from 12 Green-backed Firecrown ( Sephanoides sephaniodes Molina 1782 ) were collected between January 2004 to December 2008 from the Biobío Region of south-central Chile and Santiago of central Chile. Helminths collected included one trematode, Mosesia sp. and one cestode, Hymenolepis trinidadensis . Only one ectoparasite was found, the mite Proctophyllodes huitzilopchtlii. All these parasites are new records from Chile and the first parasites reported from this host.
