摘要:: This article presents a descriptive qualitative study held at the 9 th Ministerial Training School through participant observation. The aim was to investigate the constraints and difficulties faced by “dancer priests” in practicing Christian Liturgical Dance and which strategies they use to continue working in that social field. It was based on field work (nine days) guided by the anthropological foundations of situational analysis through Bourdieu’s ideas. The most relevant observations include the idea that one of the biggest conflicts faced is social non-acceptance of their dance. As a form of resistance, they keep on dancing, using strategies such as the development of cultural capital and vocation for priesthood.
