摘要：The companies constantly seek to overcome their competitors by adopting management systems that perpetuate its continuity and further add value to their investors. In this sense this article discusses the advantages of an ERP supporting the adoption of the Value Based Management. It demonstrates the value drivers that can be used to increase the value generated to shareholders and the implementation stages of VBM receiving support from an ERP system. It concludes that the implementation and successful maintenance of VBM depends on the choice of the successful vendor in the ERP system, the value drivers and even a culture which promotes the value generation.↓As empresas buscam constantemente superar seus concorrentes através da adoção de sistemas de gestão que perpetuem sua continuidade e ainda agreguem valor aos seus investidores. Neste sentido o presente artigo discute as vantagens do suporte de um ERP à adoção da Gestão Baseada no Valor. Trata-se, portanto, de uma pesquisa bibliográfica exploratório-descritiva. Demonstra os direcionadores de valor que podem ser utilizados para um aumento no valor gerado aos acionistas e as fases de implementação da GBV recebendo suporte de um sistema ERP. Conclui que a implementação e manutenção bem-sucedida da GBV dependem da escolha bem-sucedida do fornecedor do sistema ERP, dos direcionadores de valor e ainda da disseminação de uma cultura que permita favoreça a geração de valor.
