摘要：The study aimed to determine the chemical elements Pb, Cu and Cd; the physicochemical and microbiological parameters of the Lagoa do Açu, located in an full protection area. Water sampling and subsequent laboratory analysis were performed. The sampling campaigns took place in January and July 2014. Therefore, ten sample points were randomized. In laboratory analyses, changes of the chemical elements and the physicochemical parameters of the water were verified. In accordance with CONAMA Resolution No. 357/2005, it may be concluded that, for the brackish water class 1quality standards, the lagoon presents a moderate rate of contamination.
