摘要：The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of true experimental research studies in the field of Applied Linguistics and to highlight the methodology and statistical application employed by the researchers. A total of ten true experimental studies are reviewed. The perspectives emerged from these studies have been identified and discussed.
