摘要：Despite having different underlying concepts, both agile methods and usability evaluation ultimately aim at producing high quality software. This paper presents the results of an empirical study on incorporating usability evaluation activities within an agile development plan. The study includes an experiment testing the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed tool in implementing the quality aspect of usability. 32 novice participants were divided equally into a group using the conceptual tool and another using ISO standards. Both groups conducted a usability evaluation based on the same project (registered students system). It is concluded that the conceptual tool significantly helps inexperienced software teams to incorporate usability work within an agile environment.
