其他标题:The Analysis of Preschool Teachers' Speech Acts to Enlarge the Formative Imagination of the Preschooler : Focus on Ability to Integrate Concrete Objects and Prior Knowledge
其他摘要:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of preschool teachers' speech acts, especially "perlocutionary acts", on the formative imagination of preschoolers. By observing teaching strategies used by teachers of preschools and nursery schools to develop children's formative activities, eight categories of speech acts were found. The major finding of this study was that two categories of speech acts, i.e., "example presentation strategy" and "image enlarging strategy" have effects to develop the formative imagination for preschoolers. This finding suggested that these two categories of speech acts have the effects to facilitate formative activity of the preschooler as the "perlocutionary acts", and, therefore, make children creatively imagine new forms.
