摘要：The paper discusses the integration and adaptation of loan words from the English language into German. The analysis was performed on a sample of loan words from the English language taken from German journals from the fields of tourism and hotel industry. English loan words appear frequently, and their occurences were classified and analyzed at the levels of morphology and syntax. A matter of concern is the deviation from the German standard in the deep linguistic code resulting with deregulation and classification of German as an endangered idiom, so that the need for cooperation between field and language specialists is stressed in order to avoid unnecessary and uncritical linguistic borrowing with far-reaching effects.
