摘要:The influence of working wives on family diet was investigated by questionnaire. Working wives had less time to cook dinner and used a smaller range of food-types than stay-home housewives, so that their husbands were not fully satisfied. Though their husbands helped them with housework, working wives did not think their spouses' contribution to be sufficient. In families of working wives, sons did not wish their future wives to work outside the home, whereas daughters wanted to become regular employees. Youngsters, especially males, whose mothers were not full-time housewives, had poor aptitude for housework such as ironing, cleaning and cooking miso soup.
