摘要:This Study used a chassis dynamometer to measure automobile exhaust components for vehicles under various operating conditions. Using unleaded gasoline with an electric concentrate engine control system (ECCS) and a three-way catalytic converter is an effective way to reduce carbon monoxide emissions in new cars. Carbon monoxide concentration was 0 to 1.5% in new cars, but 2.8-4.8% in cars in current use. Hydrocarbon concentration in new cars using unleaded gasoline was 0-403ppm, but 1.5ppm in vehicles using magnesium peroxichloride, and zero in vehicles with ECCS and a three-way catalytic converter. Carbon dioxide was in the 12-16% range in all vehicles, both new ones and those in current use.
