摘要：A new cardiotonic glycoside, named gitoroside, was obtained from the water-soluble fraction of Digitalis purpurea leaves. This glycoside was found to be a gitoxigenin mono-d-digitoxoside. Digitalonin, non-cardiotonic glycoside, was presumed to be a diginigenin mono-d-digitaloside. Gitoxin pentaacetate, m. p. 158∼160°, was obtained in crystalline form for the first time.
