摘要：Igaku Chuo Zassh i ( Japana Centra Revuo Medicinae ) has been compiled by computer since April 1983. With the introduction of computerization, some changes have appeared in publishing and indexing. These changes are examined from the point of manual literature searches. Notably, the new subject index is more difficult to use than the old one, because the new subject index does not fully explain the content of the literature indexed. With a view to correcting this problem, it is pointed out that the new subject index needs to adopt more index terms to be detailed.
