摘要:In the article the issues of specialists’ professional competence in a multicultural context are considered from the perspective of information and communication concepts. It is proved that the main objective of communication process is the adequate interpretation of communicants’ intentions. Communication competence of a specialist is seen as a resource to provide language and intercultural readiness for work, social flexibility and interaction on a professional level, including multicultural work environment, in the conditions of global academic mobility and expansion of business contacts.
