摘要：This study examines the fishing in communities of RESEX of Canavieiras, Bahia. Interviews were conducted with artisanal extractive fishermen opinion leaders. Data were subject to descriptive statistics. Some of the techniques employed are unsustainable. The educational factor is constituted in hindrance to functional mobility and the permanence of this scenario in the long run, it becomes little economically sustainable the life these patients. Keywords: Traditional communities, fishing activities, extractivism.
