摘要：Blood selenium concentrations were found to be significantly lower in patients with chronic pancreatitis than in normal controls. The activity of the selenoenzyme erythrocyte glutathione peroxidase had a significant positive correlation with selenium concentration and it was also significantly lower in patients with the disease. These findings suggest that selenium deficiency and reduced glutathione peroxidase activity are associated with the elevation of lipid peroxides in chronic pancreatitis.
