摘要：Study of the genetic characteristics of the burials at the Talayotic necropolis of Cova des Pas reveals an important level of endogamy at the mitochondrial DNA level. Comparison with other contemporary series from the Balearic Islands permits us to hypothesize the existence of closed groups, with a limited number of female lineages and difficult to access necropoleis, like the present site. The existence of these communities would contrast with other, more open groups located in the central, flat parts of the island with more interchange between female lineages.
