摘要：Analyzing the history of economic thought, it can be seen that for a long time, labor and capital were identified as the main factors of production. However, at present, these factors are to relate to innovation and intellectual capital, because of the fierce competitiveness that marks the current economic system. The prominence given to innovation in the context of everyday life arouses the interest of research by the scientific community. In this context, the area has space for several studies, appearing to address the possibility of innovation in a different perspective of which are usually employed. This work aims to demonstrate the feasibility of applying laddering technique in studies on value innovation, from its insertion as analytical support for the phenomenological method. For this, carried a research in a multinational producer of rolled metal active in the region of Quadrilátero Ferrífero – MG and applies the methodology for purposes of exemplification of the possibility of their use in research on screen. The aim is thus to contribute to the analysis on a little explored aspect in the Academy: the value of innovative action.
