摘要：This essay is about the portuguese views of Brazil in literary and historical texts, since the discovery of the country by Pedro Álvares Cabral, in 1500, until today. Our intention is to show that this way of registering aspects of the new lands ranging from descriptive texts, critical views and utopian views.
