摘要:Providing a high quality service is what the recreational and sports facilities wish to achieve. Offering a quality experience to the recreational and sport consumers promote the participation in recreational and sport activities and the consumption of these activities in future. It is accordingly considered to be important that the quality of the offered service is known by recreational and sport marketers and service providers. The service quality of the recreational kite festival was evaluated in this research. The Scale of Event Quality for Spectator Sports (SEQSS) developed by Ko et all. (2011) was used to evaluate the service quality. 325 people who watched the contests and activities within the festival and were chosen with the convenience sampling method joined the research. It was understood from research results that the service quality of the kite festival did not differ according to genders and age groups of the participants. It was determined that individuals with different income levels had different perceptions for the factors affecting the service quality. It was also found that the postgraduate participants had the lowest average for all of the dimensions that affected the service quality of the kite festival.
