摘要：The paper deals with the preliminary results of the investigations conducted by the University of Macerata with the collaboration of Archaeological Superintendence of Marche, in the site of Villamagna, in the territory of the colony of Pollentia-Urbs Salvia. The excavation brought to light a portion of a large roman villa. It was in use between the 1st cent. BC and the 6th cent. AD and probably it belonged to the gens Herennia, at least in its early phase.
