摘要：In the current study, the Hungarian system of the minorities’advocacy is in focus with special regard to the Gypsy minority localgovernments. The representation of the Roma population has became verywide-spread from the mid 1990’s by the Gypsy minority local governments,however this temporal change fits to general trends of other minority localgovernments. Important territorial characteristics were discovered by theexample of the North Great Plain Region where significant part of theHungarian gypsies are concentrating.
