摘要：This paper aims at emphasizing the role of universities in promoting the Romanian Hungarian cross border cooperation. In this respect, a systemic approach was needed, from general to particular, from the university system in the area eligible for the program to the University of Oradea (as its main component) and the Department of Geography, Tourism and Territorial Planning regarded as an execution factor in the implementation of the HURO projects.
