摘要：In his last paper, presented at the American Psychological Association Annual Convention in 1990, Skinner exposed his proposal for behavior analysis. He presented his model of selection by the consequences and answered to the question “Can Psychology be the science of the mind?”. For Skinner, as the creationist visions refused Darwin’s theory to keep the role for a creator, the cognitivist psychology – “the creationist science of psychology” – aims to keep the role of a mind or a creator self. In this presentation of the Portuguese version of Skinner’s paper, it is offered to the reader a brief description of the repertoire of Skinner himself, from his first experiments to the conclusion of his conceitual proposal for a science of behavior.
