摘要：This paper distinguishes between simple and conditional discrimination concepts and points to the importance of the concept of conditional discrimination in the study of complex behavioral processes. A brief historical overview of the development of conceptual models about conditional discrimination until its more recent formulations is also described. Conceptual revisions are suggested based on both critical considerations regarding currently employed conditional discrimination’s definitions and on studies which used alternative methodologies to establish emergent conditional relations.
