摘要:Indonesian Banking Architecture is a basic framework of Indonesian banking system development that is comprehensive for the period five to ten years. API policy formulated to create a feasible banking system, strong and efficient. The feasibility level of bank can be assessed using several indicators. Capital adequacy, liquidity, and profitability ratios are common benchmarks used in assessing bank performance. This study aims to determine the differences of the performance of regional development banks (BPD) and national private (non-foreign exchange and foreign exchange) bank during the before and after implementation of the API in January 2004 time frame based on the non performing loans (NPLs), capital adequacy (CAR), and profitability with ROA, and BOPO respectively as their proxies. In addition, this study also compared the performance between the three groups of banks. The method of analysis used in this research is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics which consist of two paired Sample T test, and One Way ANOVA. The research shows the performance of BPD and Private banks are not significantly different at the CAR ratio. This is probably because BPD capitalized by the government. The BOPO NPL and improved ratios between BPD and BUSN (non foreign exchange and foreign exchange private banks) are significantly different. The performance of BUSN are not significantly different before and after the implementation the Indonesian Banking Architecture. The study affirms that the performance of BPD, BUSN BUSN are not significantly different in terms of ROA ratio, except for the year 2006. As forNPL differs between banks and BOPO differ in the time before the implementation of the API (2004) but for afterwards reveals insignificant differences.
