摘要：The writing is aimed to find out about the Oracle Financial applications (Orafin) at PT. Indonesia Power, the research conducted at PT. Indonesia Power, at Jalan Aipda KS Tubun No. 8, Jakarta 11420. Samples were taken with data retrieval methods, through literature studies, field studies, and interviews. The writing was focused on the financial statements based on computer applications used at PT. Indonesia Power which is a type of Oracle Financial applications, which consists of ProTAN (General Ledger), ProTAP (fixed assets), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), and Project Management Diploma Diploma (Professional) Degree (ProMOP). The writer did field study for 15 days, starting from August 13, 2007 to August 31, 2007. PT. Indonesia Power Maintenance Service Business Unit is franchise of PLN (state electricity company) which is engaged in the electricity sector. The business activities of PT. Indonesia Power Maintenance Service Business Unit are maintenaning electric empowerment. Financial report at PT. Indonesia Power is prepared using accounting principles and practices generally accepted in Indonesia or in accordance with SSFA (standard statement of financial accounting). Financial statements are prepared on the basis of Accrual basis, while cash flow statements (cash basis) are prepared using the direct method by classifying cash flows in operating, investing, and financing activities.
